LOCAL RULES
- PENALTY AREAS – RULE 17.1d
a) The streams, ponds, ditches, shrubbery and wooded areas marked with red stakes are lateral penalty areas. B) Except, the stream in front of the 11th green and in front of the 12th tee, which are yellow stake penalty areas.
- OUT OF BOUNDS – RULE 18.2a
a) Beyond any wall, hedge, palisade fence or razor wire boarding the course.
b) the clubhouse and its enclosures the paved areas surrounding the car park, the path boarding putting green, the putting green, patio and shrubbery in front of it.
- ROADS & PATHS – RULE 16.1a
The roads, which run through the course and all artificially surfaced paths, are immovable obstruction.
- IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS – RULE 16.1a
4a. PROTECTION OF STAKED TREES and those of less than two club lengths in height. b) FLOODLIGHTS adjacent to the 18th green. If such an obstruction interferes with the player’s stance or the area of intended swing the ball MUST be lifted, without penalty, and dropped within one club of the nearest point of full relief.
4b. HALFWAY HOUSE if the halfway house between 10th & 11th holes is on a player’s line of play or sight the player may take free relief by dropping the ball away from the halfway house no nearer the hole.
- NO PLAY ZONES (GUR) – RULE 16.1f
Play is prohibited from any white line area or other marked as No Play Zones. If a player’s ball lies in such area or if such an area interferes with the player’s stance or the area of his intended swing the player MUST take relief as provided.
6. MANHOLE COVERS & DRAINAGE DITCHES – RULE 16.1
Relief may be taken in relation to the grating type manhole covers in any part of the course. b) Relief may be taken from Stoned drainage ditch in front of the 4th
- GRAVEL BANDING – RULE 16.1f
Gravel banding areas and drainage work.
- TRACTOR MARKS – RULE 16.1a
Relief may be taken from a ball coming to rest in a tractor mark through the green.
9. BALL EMBEDDED – RULE 16.3a
Relief may be taken with a ball embedded anywhere in the General Area in its own pitch mark.
